Roche Park Recreation Centre

Welcome to Roche Park Recreation Centre, Collie’s community recreation centre, located at the eastern end of Coombes Street.

Roche Park Recreation Centre has a wide range of facilities available for the public, clubs, organisations, and schools. The Centre has 3 courts, which cater to basketball, netball, volleyball, roller skating and other indoor sports. The Centre also offers a playroom/function room, group fitness room, spin cycle room, commercial kitchen, small meeting room, and kiosk.

There is an option to hire the function rooms, small meeting room, commercial kitchen, and courts. Roche Park also offer Kids birthday party packages.

Programs run by the Centre include Sporty Tots (ages 1-4), Mini Marvels (ages 1-4), Junior Netball Program (ages 5-8), No Limits Senior Inclusive Program, Social Netball, and a variety of group fitness classes.

The Centre has group fitness yearly memberships available as well as other options for class passes.

The Centre is home to the Collie Basketball and Collie Netball Associations clubrooms and the annual Coal Cup volleyball competition. The Collie Soccer Association plays junior and senior games on the grounds outside.

Group fitness classes

Including Les Mills:

Body PUMP: The original Les Mills barbell class. Strengthen your body and fight fat. Your choice of weights enables you to get the most out of your workout.

RPM: The indoor cycling class, set to the rhythm of motivating music. Control your resistance while instructors lead you through a series of simulated climbs and sprints!

Body Balance: The Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates inspired workout. Build flexibility, strengthen your muscles, improve your posture, and leave you feeling centred and calm.

Stretch and Tone: A combination of stretching with physical poses, mindfulness, breathing techniques and meditation.

Boxfit: Boxfit is a cardiovascular workout based on boxing techniques. It is suitable for all levels and helps improve agility, strength and overall fitness.

Zumba sessions:  Fitness that is fun! Combines Latin & international music with dance. Zumba alternates fast and slow rhythms to help improve cardiovascular fitness. For all Fitness levels.

Over summer free Fitness in the Park sessions are often held. If you want to work out in a friendly atmosphere, led by professional instructors, then this is for you!

 Senior Fitness – Functional Fitness and Strength for Life. Exercises for the over 50s with a focus on strength and balance. GP referral required for S4Life. Stay for a cuppa afterwards. Strength for Life GP Referral Letter and Strength for Life Brochures

Junior programs

 Sporty Tots – Sporty Tots allows children aged 1 to 4 to build the knowledge and skills to assist them in learning how to run, jump, balance, kick, throw, and more. FUN. PLAY. IMAGINATION. That is what physical activity should be for children in their early years.

Junior Netball – Term 2 & 3 program for ages 5-8 years. NetSetGO is Australia’s official starter program for girls and boys aged 5 to 8. It is a chance to learn the netball basics while having fun. For a lot of kids, this is the first time they will pick up a netball. It is a learning experience, and a lot of fun.


Inclusive sport program

No Limits – Inclusive sports and recreation for people with disabilities. We run a variety of sports including indoor hockey, netball, badminton, and soccer, plus fitness-based sessions including spin classes and fit ball. There is something for all abilities.


Mixed Social Sport

 Social netball – Ladies competitions over summer and winter seasons. Team and individual nominations accepted.  Mixed competitions will be advertised when available.
