Roche Park Recreation Centre
Welcome to Roche Park Recreation Centre, Collie’s community recreation centre, located at the western end of Coombes Street.
The Recreation Centre offers:
- Double court major stadium with sprung timber sports floor
- Separate single court space
- Group fitness room
- Spin bike room
- Kiosk
- Children’s playroom
- Commercial kitchen, available for hire
- Small meeting room for hire
- Function room for hire
The Collie Basketball and Collie Netball Associations clubrooms are located at the Centre, and we are home to the annual Coal Cup volleyball competition. The Collie Soccer Association plays junior and senior games on the grounds outside.

Roche Park Recreation Centre – Programs
We are proud to offer a range of programs and events for all ages, including:
Group fitness classes – including Les Mills BodyPUMP, RPM, BodyBalance, and Zumba sessions. Over summer we may offer free Fitness in the Park sessions. If you want to work out in a friendly atmosphere, lead by professional instructors, then this is for you!
Senior Fitness – Functional Fitness and Strength For Life. Exercises for the over 50s with a focus on strength and balance. GP referral required for S4Life. Stay for a cuppa afterwards. Strength for Life GP Referral Letter and Strength for Life Brochures
No Limits – Inclusive sports and recreation for people with disabilities. We run a variety of sports including indoor hockey, netball, badminton and soccer, plus fitness based sessions including spin classes and fitball. There’s something for all abilities.
Social netball – Ladies competitions over summer and winter seasons. Team and individual nominations accepted. Mixed competitions will be advertised when available
Sportytots – A sport based program designed just for little kids aged 1 to 3 years. Helps develop gross and fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, balance and spatial awareness, great for kids heading into school.
Kindy Kids – A sport based program tailored to help children 3-5 years learn their fundamental movement skills through a variety of activities and modified sports.
Junior Basketball – Term 1 – 4 program for ages 4-8. Learn the basic skills of basketball, then work your way up to modified games.
Junior Netball – Term 2 & 3 program for ages Pre-Primary to Year 3. Learn the basic skills of netball, then work your way up to modified games.
