DESCRIPTION:Looking for a fun and free creative activity for the school holidays? Get involved in the Tiny Art Show by creating your own miniature piece of art! \nChildren aged up to 18 years can visit the library between Tuesday 30 September and Saturday 4 October to create their own piece of art for display in the library. Each piece of art will be entered into our Tiny Art Prize competition. \n\nArt creation is available during the first week of school holidays\, while supplies last\nChildren aged up to 8 years can create a drawing\nChildren aged 8+ can create either a drawing or a small painting\nCompleted art will be displayed\, with voting taking place from Monday 6 October – Friday 10 October\nEach age category will be awarded a People’s Choice Prize and a Judge’s Choice Prize on Friday 10 October\n\n  \nRegistrations not required – walk-in artists welcome!

Do you have a recipe or dish that you’re practically legally obliged to make for every family gathering? We want to hear about it – and better yet\, we want to taste it! \nCome along to our new social club at the library\, Crime & Nourishment\, where we share our favourite recipes and have the opportunity to try something new\, and do a little crime solving! So how does it work? \n\nChoose a recipe from your favourite cookbook / website / blog / family recipe binder (check out our Facebook to see if there’s a theme for this month)\nPerform some kitchen magic and whip up your star dish (if you can – bringing food is not a requirement)\nBring along a copy of your recipe (and a plate of food if sharing) to the library and tell the group about its inspiration or importance to you\nEnjoy some morning tea and solve this month’s murder mystery puzzle!\n\nPlease register your attendance here.
