Strategic Community Plan Survey

The Shire of Collie is calling on residents to help shape its future by reviewing the Strategic Community Plan.

The plan outlines the Shires vision and aspirations for the next 5 years and sets out the key strategies to achieve them. With the massive changes brought about by the transition from coal mining, coal
generated power and the impact of the ban on logging native timber forests from 2024, the voice of those residing in Collie has never been more important.

The Community is encouraged to have their say on the plan to help make Collie a place where people want to live and work, now and into the future. Click here to complete the online survey.

Register for the upcoming “Community Conversations” forum to provide input and refresh the Shire of Collie Strategic Community Plan on 6 October @ Margaretta Wilson Centre.

Background Under the Local Government Act 1995 and Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, WA Councils are required to undertake a major review of their Strategic Community Plan (or “Plan for the Future”) every four years.
