Swimming Pool

Collie Mineworkers Memorial Pool is open for the season. The pool will be closed for winter from Monday 24 April 2023. The final open day is Sunday 23 April 2023.

On inclement days or where the forecast is below a maximum temperature of 20 degrees, the pool may be closed. Advanced notice will be given on the Shire’s website and Facebook page, where possible and signage will be provided at the pool entrance. 

The Collie Mineworkers Memorial Pool is an outdoor heated pool and is  generally open from October to April. The exact opening and closing dates for the season are always advertised close to the time.

The pool is also a ‘Watch Around Water’ pool.  Children under 10 years of age will not be admitted without a parent or appropriate guardian of at least 16 years of age.  All children under the age of 5 years must be within arm’s reach of their accompanying adult at all times. The pool is now able to accept payment by EFTPOS.

Opening Hours

The pool will be closed to the public on the below dates due to competitions and carnivals:

Sunday 26 March (2pm onward) – Underwater hockey (Part of large pool closed. The small pool will be open to the public)
Friday 31 March (08:30 – 15:00) – St Brigid’s carnival

Saturday: 10.00am to 6.30pm
Sunday: 12pm to 6.30pm

From Monday 10th April 2023 – Sunday 23 April 2023.
Monday to Friday: 6.30am – 10.00am; 1.00pm – 6.30pm
Saturday: 10.00am – 6.30pm
Sunday: 12pm – 6.30pm

Public Holidays: 10.00am to 6.30pm (Excludes Easter Monday 10 April 2023; Closed Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday)
