TENDER 04/2021 – ROOF CLADDING REPLACEMENT – MINOR SPORTS COURT (COURT 3) AT ROCHE PARK RECREATION CENTRE

Tenders are invited for the replacement of roof cladding to the minor sports court (Court 3) at Roche Park Recreation Centre and will be accepted up until 2pm Wednesday 17th November 2021.

Requests for Quotes (RFQs)

Ceiling Tile Replacement – Roche Park Recreation Centre

The Shire of Collie is seeking quotes for the replacement of ceiling tiles to the existing grid at Roche Park Recreation Centre. The project budget is $30,000 + GST, and therefore the Shire is required to seek a minimum of three (3) competitive quotes for this project in accordance with our purchasing policy CS3.23.

The replacement of ceiling tiles is to occur in the below red highlighted areas (approx. 870m2):

Should this project be of interest can you please allow for the following in your quote:

  • Onsite pre-start meeting with Shire representative;
  • Completion of submission of ‘Safe Work Method Statement’ prior to commencement of project (template available from Shire);
  • Use of drop sheets etc for protection of equipment, furniture;
  • Removal of existing 1200 x 600 ‘Sountex’ acoustic cement composite panels (approx ~870), and disposal;
  • Installation of replacement 1200 x 600 x 10mm Gyprock ‘Freshtone’ Ceiling tiles (quantity = 920, includes approx. 5% redundancy);
  • Minor re-adjustment of existing grid system where needed to allow for flush/level surface;
  • Removal and disposal of redundant flexible ducting in roof void above ceiling grid (left over from de-commissioned HVAC system);
  • Cut panels to suit edges, corners etc, and also hole cut select panels (approx. 5%) for various services such as downlights, smoke alarms, CCTV etc;
  • Co-ordinate service disconnection & reconnection with Shire appointed electrical contractor;
  • Use of EWP for ceiling tile replacement in rear gym room (ceiling height 3600mm); and
  • Site clean.
