Dawn Service: 5.40am at Soldiers Park
Morning Service: 11am at Soldiers Park
Each year, on the 25th April, we remember the day that Allied troops landed on the Gallipoli peninsula in Ottoman Turkey, during the First World War. On this day, we also remember all Australians who have served, and continue to serve our nation, in war, conflict and peacekeeping operations. For Australians, ANZAC Day is a time for solemn reflection and to express gratitude for this service.
For 130 years, Australians have served in conflict and in peace around the world, protecting values of freedom and democracy. We must always remember it is the soldier who has given us our freedom.
You are reminded that it is not appropriate to applaud at ANZAC commemoration service/s
