Join author Vanessa for this special meet the author story time, and help your child develop a love of books, story writing, drawing and imaginary play!
Vanessa Adelaide has a background of using the arts to teach children the importance of social confidence and emotional control. Vanessa has written seven books with supportive themes in the areas of rejection, hope, loss, fun, love and kindness.
The first four books were a part of the ‘Forgotten Toy Series’ including My lonely dolly, The blue crayon, The old teddy and The red truck. Connor the Kangaroo was written next along with Nana loves Dress ups and A cat called Harvey. Each book is very different but can be used to support difficult conversations to support children in a confusing world.
