CREATE YOUR OWN SUPERHERO OR SUPER-VILLAIN!
Help us celebrate Library & Information Week by designing your own super something! The theme for this year’s library week is CREATE, so we want to see your best – or worst – creations with their very own origin stories. You can draw, paint, collage or go digital – use any medium you like to bring your character to life. The library elves will choose their favourite character from each age group to win a Chamber of Commerce Voucher to be spent at a variety of stores around town.
What do I do to enter?
- Create your character – think about what they look like, what they sound like, what their strengths, weaknesses and special powers are
- Origin story – how did your character become who they are? What happened to make them super?
- Tell your story! Create a 4-6 panel comic strip showing your character’s origin story
Conditions of entry
- Entries close Sunday May 24
- Entries must include Entrant Name, Age, and Contact Details
- Entries are open to residents of the Shire of Collie
- By entering this competition you give Collie Public Library the rights to display and publish your work on any of their platforms
- Entries can be submitted via email (library@collie.wa.gov.au) or by hand delivery to the after hours book return chute
- Winners will be revealed on Thursday May 28
- One winner will be chosen from each age group – Primary School Age and High School Age
