Section 17 (7) of the Bush Fires Act 1954 enables Local Government to vary the Prohibited Burning Period due to seasonal conditions.

In accordance with these provisions, notice is hereby given that the PROHIBITED BURNING PERIOD for the entire Shire of Collie will cease at midnight on Thursday 2nd April 2026.

The Shire will enter the restricted burning period on Friday 3rd April 2026.
