DFES, South32 and the Shire of Collie are conducting a Hazard Reduction
Burn on UCL/UCM Land at the intersection of Clifford Street & Collie
Williams Road.

Residents within a 2 km radius have received letters notifying them of the
burn. This burn is designed to bring South32 Worsley Alumina Emergency
Response Teams up to speed for the upcoming bushfire season.

This essential training is conducted alongside Shire of Collie Volunteers
ahead of a significant, high-threat bushfire season amid predicted
worsening summer weather conditions.
