Further to recent media coverage and discussions at Council meetings, the Shire gives notice that it will be commencing an inspection program to address wrecks, disused motor vehicles, old motor vehicles and machinery on the verge and in front yards (if not adequately screened from view).

Residents are asked to remove these items by 16 March 2026. Removal notices will be issued where properties have failed to be not compliant with acceptable standards.
