Notice of Public Advertisement of Planning Scheme Amendment
The Shire of Collie has initiated a planning scheme amendment for the following purpose and public comments are invited.
Proposal: Planning Scheme Amendment – Additional Use (Warehouse/Storage) at Lot 4477 Piavanini Road, Collie Burn
Details of the proposed planning scheme amendment are available for inspection at the Shire Office or on the Shire’s website at www.collie.wa.gov.au. Submissions may be made on the proposal in the period ending on the 27th day of August 2026 (42 days from commencement). Comments on the proposed planning scheme amendment may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before that day.
Submissions should reference ‘Planning Scheme Amendment – Additional Use (Warehouse/Storage) at Lot 4477 Piavanini Road, Collie Burn)’ and be sent to the Shire of Collie at 87 Throssell Street, Collie WA 6225; mailed to Locked Bag 6225, Collie WA 6225 or via email to colshire@collie.wa.gov.au

Controlled Green Waste Burning
In accordance with the Licence L6831/1997/12 for Gibbs Road Landfill Facility,
A controlled burn of the green waste will be conducted at the landfill site on Thursday 28 & Friday 29 May 2026 between 8.00am – 6.00pm.
